About Britt

Britt was the #1 basketball recruit in the nation, recruited by every college and university in the country. An All-American with promise attending both Duke and UConn. But a devastating injury in her freshman year ended her sports career. She struggled with depression, eating disorders, and a loss of identity. She felt a sense of urgency to redefine herself and discover what she valued beyond the court.

While a student athlete, Britt mentored young students in the greater Hartford area and continued that work with a University-based non-profit while earning her first Master’s degree. This experience led Britt to work in education, where she was a 4th grade teacher, Dean of Students, and Vice Principal at a Charter School in Harlem. After 7 years of servant leadership, Britt changed her career path by earning an MBA from Vanderbilt University. In 2020, she joined Microsoft, initially in HR and then in Business Operations, supporting engineers in Azure. Recently, Britt decided to return to servant leadership by sharing her journey and inspiring those around her through the art of speaking.
